Access to information
Information about your home and services
We want it to be easy for residents to find information about Your Place and the services we provide. As a registered provider of social housing, we follow the Social Tenant Access to Information Requirements (STAIRs). STAIRs gives residents clearer access to information about their home, their landlord and the services they receive, so they can understand how we work and hold us to account.
What information can I find?
Our Publication Scheme brings key information about our housing services together in one place. We review it regularly and add information when required or useful. The sections below will help you find what you need.
Our Finances
How we use our money.
This section explains where our money comes from and how we use it to provide homes, support residents and improve our services.
Your home
Repairs, safety & improvements
This section explains how we look after residents’ rooms and shared areas, keep the building safe and plan improvements.
Our performance
How well we are delivering services and what we need to improve.
This section shows how well we are delivering services, what residents tell us and where we need to improve.
Important records we keep
We keep records of the checks and work carried out to keep residents and our building safe. These include fire risk assessments, fire door inspections, electrical safety checks, water hygiene, asbestos management, repairs and other safety records.
Some of these records are technical documents. We will publish them where appropriate and provide a short description to help residents understand what each document covers.
When safety work affects residents, we will explain directly what is happening, when the work will take place and any action residents need to take. Residents can also ask us for information about safety checks or records relating to their home.
We are developing a new Building, Health and Safety section for our residents’ webpage. It will bring together summaries of key policies and documents, building-safety information, and practical guidance to help residents live safely and healthily. We will add a link here when it is available.
