New trustees appointed
Your Place appoints new trustees helping to improve the gender, ethnic and cultural diversity of our Board and to better reflect the employee base and the community we serve.
Laura Curtis and Anil Sharma were recruited through the East London Business Alliance’s BoardMatch, an annual event that encourages City and Canary Wharf professionals to use their skills and expertise to support the third sector. Joseph Ogundemuren will join the Board shortly, having successfully applied to Your Place’s Board Diversity Programme.
"I am thrilled to be a female member of the Board and importantly the youngest ever trustee at Your Place. At BoardMatch, I really connected with the charity’s vision, the people I met and their passion for what they do. I am looking forward to using my expertise to help solve the homeless crisis."

I am looking forward to joining the Board and bringing my skills and experiences to serve the Newham community."

They are joining at a critical time, when we are expanding our services in the midst of the growing housing crisis. We are also looking forward to welcoming Joseph in the near future."
